This User Agreement (hereinafter referred to as "this Agreement") is a legal agreement between you (hereinafter referred to as "User") and Shenzhen Yiti Media Co., Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "We/Us/Our") regarding the use of the mobile application "PlotFork" (hereinafter referred to as "the App"). Please carefully read all contents of this Agreement, especially the disclaimer clauses, intellectual property clauses and dispute resolution clauses. By downloading, installing, registering or using the App, you indicate that you have fully understood and agreed to all clauses of this Agreement and are willing to be bound by this Agreement.
1. Service Content and Scope of Use
1.1 The App provides users with short novel reading services, with core content covering themes such as werewolf, mafia, and contrast. All novel content is independently created by us or used with legal authorization. Users can browse, read and collect relevant content through the App.
1.2 The built-in advertisements in the App are non-personalized advertisements operated independently by us, which are only displayed based on fixed scenarios in the App, without involving user data tracking or personalized recommendations, and the function of closing advertisements is not provided temporarily.
1.3 To use the App, users need to have mobile devices and network environments that meet the operation requirements of the App. The relevant equipment and network usage fees shall be borne by users themselves.
2. User Account and Usage Norms
2.1 Users shall register an account of the App through legal means, and shall provide true and accurate information (such as email address, user name, etc.) during registration, and shall be responsible for the authenticity, completeness and validity of the account information.
2.2 Users shall properly keep their accounts and passwords, and independently be responsible for all operational behaviors under the accounts. If you find that your account has been stolen, leaked, etc., you must contact us immediately for assistance. The losses caused by failure to notify in a timely manner shall be borne by the user.
2.3 Users are prohibited from engaging in the following behaviors by using the App:
Behaviors that violate laws and regulations, public order and good customs, or infringe upon the legitimate rights and interests of third parties;
Obtaining App data without authorization, tampering with App functions or spreading malicious programs;
Excessively frequent access or attacking the App server, affecting service stability;
Other behaviors that interfere with the normal operation of the App.
3. Intellectual Property Statement
3.1 All intellectual property rights such as software copyright, trademark right, interface designa and operation rules of the App belong to us, and are protected by laws and regulations such as the Copyright Law of the People's Republic of China and the Trademark Law.
3.2 The copyright of all novel content (text, plot, character settings, etc.) in the App belongs to us or legitimate right holders. Users only have the right of personal non-commercial reading, and are prohibited from using any content by means of copying, dissemination, adaptation, commercial use, etc., otherwise they shall bear tort liability.
3.3 Without our prior written permission, users shall not arbitrarily use the intellectual property-related content such as the name, logo and mark of the App.
4. Data Collection and Use
4.1 We only collect basic data necessary for users to use the App, including: account registration information (email, user name), basic device information (device model, system version, unique device identifier), and App usage records (browsing/reading records, collection/history records).
The above data is only used for ensuring account security, maintaining normal operation of the App, and statistically analyzing user reading behaviors to optimize content supply (not for AI training or personalized recommendations).
4.2 We will not collect users' sensitive personal information, nor will we use any user data for AI model training, data sales or third-party sharing, except as required by laws and regulations.
5. Disclaimer
5.1 The novel content provided by the App is only for entertainment purposes and does not represent our views or positions.
5.2 We will not be liable for service interruption, delay, or data loss caused by force majeure or third-party factors.
5.3 Users shall bear responsibility for losses caused by account security issues due to their own violations.
6. Agreement Modification and Termination
6.1 We may modify this Agreement and notify users through in-app announcements.
6.2 Users may cancel their accounts at any time, after which personal data will be deleted or anonymized.
6.3 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services for serious violations.
7. Dispute Resolution
7.1 This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China.
7.2 Disputes shall be submitted to the people's court with jurisdiction at our registered location.
